Identify this configuration
Diamond Pacific sold this Genie as 100-GD-100 (115 V, 60 Hz) and 100-GD-100X (230 V, 50 Hz). Its 1/4 hp capacitor-start motor drew 400 W at 115 V. The 2010 catalogue gives the same motor; the 2020 catalogue lists a 1/2 hp motor. Read the motor plate to tell which one a machine has, since a previous owner may have replaced it.
Included equipment
Two 6 × 1½ in Galaxy grinding wheels (80 and 220 grit), four 6 × 1½ in Nova wheels (280, 600, 1,200 and 3,000 grit), an 18 in lamp, cab rest, 5½ in canvas polishing pad, 2 g syringe of 14,000 grit diamond compound, four splash guards, safety glasses and a manual. The trim saw attachment was sold separately.
Parts & replacements
The 2007 spare-parts table lists the 1/4 hp motor as 101-GMO-125 (230 V: 101-GMO-125X), with its own capacitor (101-GCA-65), pump (101-G-PUMP), pump leathers (101-GPL-145), bearings (101-GBE-148) and wheel spacers. Galaxy and Nova wheels have 1-inch arbor holes, and the Genie's shaft adapters have a 1-inch outside diameter to fit them. Quote the old part number when you ask Diamond Pacific for a current equivalent.
