CabKing cabbing machines
CabKing sells six-wheel machines with six-inch or eight-inch wheels. The two sizes need different bench space and replacement wheels. An older machine may also need parts for its particular revision.
CabKing 6 & CabKing 8
CabKing makes two machines. Each carries six wheels on a direct-drive motor, with no belts or pulleys, and runs at a single speed of 1,800 rpm. The CabKing 8 has larger, wider wheels with more space between them, so it takes larger stones, but it needs more bench space. CabKing 8 product page; CabKing FAQ.

The motors run at one speed only. CabKing's FAQ warns that a rheostat, router speed controller or voltage-limiting device will overheat the motor and void the warranty.

CabKing builds the 220 V models for 220–240 V supplies outside the US, with a Type F plug; the water pump's plug may differ and need an adapter. Buyers outside the US pay their own import duties. Prices exclude delivery.
What comes with the machine
CabKing sells each machine only as a complete package with wheels and accessories. The two packages differ in the flat lap and the water pump switch. CabKing FAQ.

The water system needs two buckets that CabKing does not supply: one of clean water for the pump and one to catch the drain water. The manuals recommend at least 5 gallons each and expect 1–2 gallons of water an hour at a light to medium drip. CabKing-6V3 manual, pages 10 and 18 (PDF).
Wheels, spacers & laps
Both machines use the same sequence. You shape the stone on the 80 and 220 grit electroplated wheels, smooth it on the 280, 600, 1,200 and 3,000 grit resin wheels, then polish on the canvas pad charged with diamond paste. Dry the stone between wheels to find remaining scratches. CabKing-6V3 manual, pages 13–14 (PDF).
Replacement wheels
CabKing allows other brands' wheels with a 1-inch centre hole. Check their diameter, width, speed rating and clearance too. CabKing advises against mixing resin wheels from different brands because they can scratch the stone or grind it unevenly. Replace the resin set if you change brand. CabKing FAQ.
CabKing's own wheels have 1-inch holes and come with bushings for ½, ⅝ and ¾ in shafts. On 22 September 2026 it listed resin wheels at $75 each in 6 in and $100 in 8 in. It listed electroplated grinding wheels at $120 (80 grit) and $105 (220 grit) in 6 in, and $150 and $135 in 8 in. Check width as well as diameter: CabKing's 6-inch resin wheels are 1½ in wide and its 8-inch resin wheels 2 in wide. The cabbing wheels reference explains how to measure a wheel before ordering.
Spacers
Aluminium spacers set the gap between wheels. CabKing sells them in ⅛, ½, ¾ and 1 in lengths, 1½ in across with a 1-inch hole, for both machines. The CabKing 6 manual asks for a gap of about ¾ in between wheels. The CabKing 8 manual shows 3½ and 3 in spacers between the left-hand wheels and 2½ in spacers on the right. Laps and pads
CabKing sells two kinds of flat lap. Diamond laps have a ½ in hole and fit the lap adapter on the left shaft; they come in 6 and 8 in. Full-face laps have a ¼–20 thread and screw into the right shaft; they come only in 6 in but fit either machine. The canvas pad also screws into the right shaft. Use one grit of paste per pad, as the manual advises, to avoid scratching. CabKing FAQ; 6V3 manual, page 14 (PDF).
Identify an older machine
The current machines are the CabKing-6V3 and CabKing 8V1; the names appear on the manuals and in CabKing's stock codes. CabKing doesn't publish a list of earlier revisions or what changed between them. Compare a used machine with the parts pages of the current manual, pages 6 and 7, and ask CabKing about anything that doesn't match.

Parts & water system
CabKing's machine parts range lists shafts, spacers, lamps, bulbs, the power switch, water knobs and valves, Y-splits, nozzles, the pump, tubing, the pump foot switch, stone trays, hand rests and splash guards. CabKing's shafts and water valves fit only its own machines.
- Pump: 30 W, rated at 2,300 litres (about 600 gallons) an hour and 2.5 m (8.2 ft) maximum lift. CabKing listed it at $40 in 110 or 220 V on 22 September 2026. CabKing water pump.
- Water lines: each hood has three Y-splits with two nozzles each, three needle valves and clear tubing, ¼ in outside and ⅛ in inside diameter. Clean them with a small brush or pipe cleaner. 6V3 manual, page 18 (PDF).
- Shafts: spare left and right shafts for the CabKing 6 let you keep a second set of wheels mounted. They fit only the CabKing 6. CabKing 6 shafts.
- Power switch: the listed replacement suits 110–115 V machines; for a 220 V machine, contact CabKing. CabKing power switch.
The water system passes clean water over the wheels once and drains it away. CabKing says that setting it up to recirculate, with the drain tubes in the pump bucket, voids the warranty and can carry grit back onto the wheels, where it scratches the stone and builds up in the valves, nozzles and tubing. The motor is sealed and has no user-serviceable parts. It normally runs at 190–220 °F, so avoid touching the housing. CabKing FAQ; 6V3 manual, pages 4 and 18 (PDF).
Check the warranty and the water system
CabKing's warranty covers only the original purchaser, so a used machine has none. 6V3 manual, page 23 (PDF). Ask the seller for the following before you agree a price:
- The manual or a photograph of the machine's label, to identify the size and revision, and a photograph of the lamp to show a halogen or LED bulb.
- A video of the machine running with water dripping on every wheel and both drip pans draining.
- Close photographs of each wheel's surface and printed grit, the shafts and the hoods.
- A list of what is included: pump, tubing, lap, pad, spacers, hand rests, trays and splash guards.
The electroplated wheels should not vibrate. Resin wheels may vibrate slightly, less so as their surface wears smooth. If the resin wheels are worn, price CabKing replacements or a full set from another brand, since CabKing advises against mixing brands. Manuals
CabKing's instruction manuals page links the CabKing-6V3 and CabKing 8V1 manuals in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch, and the 6-inch and 8-inch trim saw attachment instructions. Each machine manual covers assembly, the water system, wheel changes, maintenance, troubleshooting and the warranty. The FAQ says CabKing can also post a printed copy.
The manuals name the maker as Reentel International Inc. of Westmont, Illinois. They describe the 6V3 and 8V1 only; for an older machine, send CabKing its size, approximate age and photographs. Manuals for other makers' machines are listed on the parts and manuals page.
